AT Computers, a.s. has begun using the Cubiscan 325 device to collect high-quality logistics data and create a so-called digital twin for each product range. The delivery included a comprehensive solution for data acquisition directly in the warehouse. It therefore also includes a mobile trolley equipped with a touchscreen computer, barcode reader, backup power supply, and camera for taking photos.
This allows AT Computers to easily capture logistics data such as weight and dimensions and, together with other supplementary data entered manually, update it directly in the information system. The advantage of the Cubiscan device is not only the capture of dimensions, but also the calculation of the spatial data of a given product. This is precisely what makes the manufacturer Quantronix, Inc. the world leader in digital dimensioning for commercial use.
myFABER® Dimensioning
The delivery also included the myFABER® Dimensioning software application, which forms the user interface and enables easy operation of the device. It offers the option of entering additional manual data, such as the type of packaging or dispatchability, which can be obtained directly in the warehouse. Through the integration API, the solution can be connected to any ERP or WMS system; in the case of the customer AT Computers, this is the QI system.

We are already planning to purchase another Cubiscan.”
