Cubiscan 325 is the latest measuring system from American manufacturer Quantronix, Inc. in our portfolio. The device is specially designed for measuring and weighing irregularly shaped and large items, but also for high-precision weighing in general.
Thanks to infrared scanning technology, the device is capable of accurately measuring small and large objects of various shapes. This state-of-the-art machine can measure objects ranging in size from 0.2 cm × 0.2 cm × 0.2 cm to 90 cm × 60 cm × 60 cm, regardless of the shape of the object. It can detect objects weighing as little as 0.002 kg, with a weight limit of 25 kg.
Model 325 is suitable for retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and manufacturers who want to know the exact dimensions of their products. It works particularly well in the fashion, sportswear, outdoor equipment, electronics, books, and toy industries, as well as any other industry that sells irregularly shaped objects. The accurate measurements provided by the 325 model allow you to select the most suitable dimensions for packaging materials for your goods, helping to minimize storage and transportation costs. Recently, it has become particularly popular with operators of large e-shops and fulfillment service providers who use automation, for whom accurate dimensions and weight are therefore crucial.
Accessories
The device comes standard with a mobile cart, which allows data to be collected not only at the point of entry, but also retrospectively in the warehouse, where it can be moved directly to the shelf. The set comes with an integrated tablet and barcode reader. When using the mobile cart, we supplement the set with a portable power supply and Wi-Fi connection, which allows you to quickly, easily, and efficiently measure items in all areas of operation. Another option is to equip the Cubiscan with a camera for taking photos of goods for logistics purposes.
myFABER® Dimensioning application
Thanks to our myFABER® Dimensioning application, we can connect the device to your central database managed in an ERP or WMS system. We can adjust the data from your database according to the measured values. Of course, we can also save the captured photo and display it, for example, on the PDAs of warehouse workers. We can tailor the myFABER® Dimensioning software to your operations. For example, you can choose which items you want to enter and transfer to the WMS database in addition to those measured automatically. We support connections to the vast majority of existing WMS and ERP systems, but we can also work with other suppliers of your WMS. Our solutions are already being used successfully by Košík.cz, AT Computers, DEXTRUM Fulfillment, Euromedia Group, and soon also by Smarty.cz.
