Meeting of APIL Association members organized by KVADOS
December began with a meeting of members of the Association for Innovation in Logistics (APIL) organized by KVADOS. The meeting took place at the Beltine Forest Hotel in the heart of the Beskydy Mountains and was preceded by a full-day program focused on the latest technologies in logistics.
Excursion to Démos trade automated warehouses with mySTOCK® WMS

During the morning visit to Démos trade, a. s., participants were able to see the highly automated warehouses managed using mySTOCK ® WMS, which is supplied and developed by KVADOS. Démos trade, a. s. is the largest supplier of materials for furniture production in the Czech Republic and also operates in Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary. All technologies, such as roller conveyors supplied by TMT, including automatic scales, strapping machines at the end of the line, vertical storage stacker supplied by KARDEX, and modern system trucks from Toyota, in conjunction with a highly sophisticated WMS, enable efficient logistics operations for tens of thousands of warehouse and order items and a high shipping capacity of over 10,000 B2B shipments per day.

After lunch together, the members and partners of the Association moved to Paskov, where they visited the first robotic fulfillment warehouse of the company Dextrum Fulfillment. Here, KVADOS, with the support of other APIL members, operates a showroom of innovative robotic and automation technologies for logistics. Under the leadership of the CEO of KVADOS, an interesting excursion was organized, which transported participants into the world of robotic and autonomous intralogistics, including a newly built private 5G network.

Official meeting of APIL members and presentation of new products
The afternoon program and the official meeting of members took place at the Beskydy hotel. As in the previous year, the chairman of the association’s executive board, Mr. Miroslav Hampel, presented the association’s activities and financial results for 2022. Three new members and partners of the Association, Packung, Siemens, and T-mobile, were also given the opportunity to introduce themselves. In return, existing members supplemented the program with presentations of new products and customer portfolios in order to strengthen mutual cooperation and integrate the latest and most modern technologies. Not only that, but in the closing remarks, a number of interesting ideas and plans for implementation over the next two years were put forward and unanimously approved.
