When we started working in a new field a few months ago—robotics and automation—we were looking for a suitable name for our solution and decided to dust off the myFABER brand. Why? We liked the word and its meaning, it describes our plans more than adequately, we have the name as a trademark, and it is protected throughout the European Union.
The meaning comes from Latin, where faber can be translated as perfect, masterful when referring to a thing, or talented, witty and astute when referring to a person. Originally, it was the name of a tool for managing service and the Service Desk. Although we really liked the product and put a lot of work and effort into it, we ultimately failed to make it commercially successful. So, a few years ago, we began to gradually withdraw it from the market.
And so it was decided: myFABER® is back in service. We are proud to present a new brand for our robotics solutions, which we develop and design ourselves and in collaboration with our partners. You will soon see it on our “yellow” robots, smart mobile racking solutions, and sophisticated, ergonomic workstations for efficient shipping. It is also our umbrella brand for software for automation solutions and the control of robots and other technologies. Simply everything that falls under the Industry 4.0 label today. We want our myFABER® to define everything related to Warehouses 4.0.
We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we believe that innovation in logistics will not stop and that the need to bring another level of automation to warehouses is a necessity. Just as automation and robotization had to come to manufacturing and industry, today it is entering warehouses and logistics and opening new doors.
We will join forces to ensure that our product mySTOCK® WMS goes hand in hand with myFABER® towards success in this growing segment. For us at KVADOS, this means acquiring additional skills and knowledge and expanding our role as a software producer to include the delivery of comprehensive solutions for logistics automation. That is why we established the subsidiary KVADOS Robotics and took over Bettaroe Robotics, gaining new colleagues, experience, and contacts with partners in robotics research and development. At the same time, we continue to develop our knowledge in construction and design, motion simulation, and ergonomic control design, as well as the use of AI elements in finding optimal solutions for movement and storage or for shipping order. We are building on our many years of experience and knowledge, utilizing the existing potential and enthusiasm of our employees and new colleagues so that the myFABER® brand will soon become synonymous with innovation in logistics.
